Carnatic vocal concert by Sri. Ravi Ravindran

ICAPS presents a Carnatic vocal concert by Sri. Ravi Ravindran on Saturday, February 22nd, 2020.  Ravi will be addressing the students through the course of the concert explaining the various aspects of a concert presentation and how attending concerts benefits the students in their musical journey.

Besides heading the Richmond Rasikas organization which promotes carnatic music in the area, Sri. Ravi Ravindran is also a well-known teacher in the Richmond community and runs a reputed music school Maturya along with his wife Smt. Chitra Ravindran.

Ravi will be accompanied by Kum. Maya Ravindran on the violin, Siranjeevi Madhava Palayam on the mridangam and Sri. Sowmya Narayanan on the ghatam.
